What started with a multidisciplinary summit in 2019 in London is becoming now a great collaborative team!
Together we work on a project of how to make legal matters and especially contracts in artists collaborations easier to understand, simpler and clearer. I am very happy to be part of this interesting setting and hope my contributions as a legal designer supports the development of the right tools and legal requirement that makes it for all involved stakeholders easy to work.
Background:
Multidisciplinary collaboration can expand perspectives and allow for creativity to flourish. Artists using science and advanced technologies regularly engage in collaboration with technologists, scientists and other practitioners. Often in these types of collaborations, there is a lack of resources to acquire proper legal advice and expertise in specialised topics including intellectual property rights and contractual obligations. Therefore it is necessary to create accessible tools and resources for practitioners and institutions that can be used to improve the legal aspects of multidisciplinary collaboration.
